It pleased
God to ordain the building of Calvary's Lighthouse and
to establish a ministry of deliverance and healing even before the
foundation was laid. By His Spirit, God placed in the hearts of
many individuals a desire to establish a place of worship; a Holiness
Church grounded on the Word of God, where all who are in need of help
from God can find deliverance from demonic oppression and healing for
their sick bodies. Calvary's Lighthouse was founded on the belief that all should be followers of Jesus Christ and not followers of man and to this end we actively seek the guidance of God through prayer and study of his Holy Word.
Our vision, as a part of the Body of Christ, is to provide a place for the worship of Almighty God and for Christian fellowship, a place

where God alone is the head; where the gospel of Jesus Christ is preached and taught, under the inspiration and guidance of the Holy Ghost; where all who minister will proclaim God's Word to lift up His Son and not to exhalt himself or any other; where love of God and of fellow man, and knowledge of and obedience to God's Word are our goals; where all believers, especially the clergy and the lay officials, labor to be the humble servants and "good stewards of the manifold grace of God," and not deem themselves above others; where the gifts and fruits of the Holy Ghost are free to operate; a place of family-oriented worship and fellowship; a place where all who wish to come are welcome; a "Lighthouse" in a sin-darkened world. |
