God created the heavens and
the earth, and everything in them.
God created man in His own
image and likeness.
One God in three persons:
the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
The Bible is the inspired
word of God.
Jesus Christ, the only
begotten Son of the Father, was born of a virgin, walked
among mankind and taught them about the Kingdom of
God; was crucified, died, and was buried; arose from the
dead on the third day; appeared to the Apostles after His
resurrection; ascended into Heaven, and is seated there at
the right hand of the Father.
By His death on the cross,
our Lord Jesus Christ has made provision for our Salvation,
New Birth, Spiritual Baptism and Power.
The Holy Ghost was sent to us
from Heaven to be our Comforter, to remind us of all things
that Jesus taught us, and to bestow Spiritual Gifts upon
believers severally as He wills.
The Lord's Supper is partaken by
us in memory of Christ's suffering and death: the bread
for His broken body, and the wine for His shed blood.
Water baptism by immersion in the
name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is a command of our Lord
for an outward sign of an inward work.
It should be the goal of every
believer to grow in holiness as time goes by, walking in
obedience to God's Word as revealed in the Holy Scriptures.
Our love of God is precious in
His sight, but He commands us to extend it to others and to our
enemies as well. "Love covereth all sins" and "Without
Charity, I am nothing".
All have sinned and come short of
the glory of God.
Repentance is necessary for the
forgiveness of sins.
Uniformity of belief in all
matters referred to in the Bible is difficult, if not impossible
for us to achieve since God has given all of us a free will and
conscience, with liberty to choose. Using this liberty to
divide the brethren is intolerable.
